Meet Dr. Mundy
Dr. Nicole Mundy grew up in Philadelphia and developed her passion for veterinary medicine at a young age after helping care for a miniature horse named Oreo through colic surgery and recovery. Oreo eventually became her own pony and is still part of her family today.
Dr. Mundy earned her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from The Pennsylvania State University in 2021. While at Penn State, she competed on the university’s equestrian team, placing seventh in the nation at Nationals, and received a full academic scholarship for her final two years. She went on to earn her veterinary degree from the Long Island University Lewyt College of Veterinary Medicine in 2025, where she was named to the Dean’s List for six semesters.
Her professional interests include large animal and equine medicine, exotic medicine, dentistry, surgery, and internal medicine. She is also a member of the American Association of Equine Practitioners. One of Dr. Mundy’s favorite parts of veterinary medicine is helping owners better understand their animals, strengthening the human-animal bond through education, and providing reassurance when a pet’s health feels uncertain.
Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Mundy enjoys hiking, paddle boarding, camping, cooking, crafting, and spending time outdoors. Her own animal family includes cats Sasha, Kimba, and Nemo; horses Pinot Grigio and Oreo; a chinchilla named Dobby; and a ball python named Carmilla.
