Dr. Alyssa Lehman

Dr. Alyssa Lehman  grew up on a small cattle farm in Williamstown, and that’s where she decided at a young age she wanted to be a veterinarian.

“My initial love for farm animal medicine grew into a love for most animals as time went on and I had more pets, and my interest grew into seeing all types of animals,” she says.

After attending Gloucester County College, where she received an associate degree in biology, and Rutgers University — School of Environmental Science, where she graduated in 2016 with a bachelor of science degree, she studied at University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2021.

Dr. Lehman appreciates that as a veterinarian, she can do good and give back, by helping and guiding people about the health and well-being of their animals. When she’s not at work, she likes to spend time with her border collie Valentine and her border collie mix Bjorn, as well as her quarter horse mare Jazzy.

In her spare time, she enjoys reading, hiking and being outdoors, especially at the beach. You also can find her in the kitchen, baking up batches of new and different treats.
