In February, she joined Cape Veterinary Hospital, where her professional interests encompass One Health, conservation medicine, public health, production medicine, preventative medicine, and surgery.

Camila is an active member of the American Association of Bovine Practitioners and the American Association of Small Ruminant Practitioners. Her satisfaction in providing veterinary care extends to low-income and underprivileged communities, particularly within the Latinx community.

A graduate of Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science in 2017, Camila continued her education at Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine, earning her veterinary degree in 2023. She has a dog named Kyo, a Corgi and Poodle mix. Her hobbies include dancing, singing, swimming, camping, reading, exploring new restaurants, and traveling.

Camila is actively involved in community organizations. She collaborates with BLENDvet, contributing to continued education in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion within the veterinary profession. She also works with Loop Abroad, guiding pre-vet students in gaining international veterinary experience, and participates in FARVETS, an organization providing low-cost spay-neuter clinics in developing countries!
